Doubling in Video Poker
Many video poker games will give you the option to take a chance to double your winnings after every win. After deciding to double your money you will be taken to a different screen. Each casino has the same basic set up for doubling down for video poker machines.
Five cards will be dealt with the first card flipped over. You will then need to select one of the four cards that you think has the best chance of being higher than the first card.
The four hidden cards will then be flipped over. If the first card was higher than the card you selected then you lose. If the card you selected is higher than the first card then you win and a tie will be a push. After every push or win you will have the option to re-double your winnings until you lose or hit the maximum limit. Usually one, two or three cards will make you a winner, but at times every card you select will make you a winner or a loser.
